Creative Resources Manager
Position Summary
The Creative Resources Manager will oversee the resourcing, scheduling and ongoing talent needs across our creative team. This position will direct and help coordinate the day-to-day agency creative and production efforts typically with the Creative Director.
Principal Accountabilities
- Assist in locating creative team talent and freelance talent as needed, always using internal resources first before sourcing external resources
- Ability to match team members against projects
- Evaluate best team makeup for assigned projects
- Monitor creative team hours and ensure proper allocation
- Manage and resolve resource booking conflicts as needed
- Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization and work with department leads to address
- Recommend process improvements for Resource Management
- Manage communication around shifting priorities with key stakeholders
- Monitor staffing and resources against assigned projects in order to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Maintain communications with appropriate agency and client personnel to ensure positive workflow
- Help to drive projects to final stages of completion by keeping the team both on track and highly motivated
Job Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
Experience: 4+ years of creative agency or client-side experience in a similar role
Skills:
- Collaborative
- Ability to demonstrate servant leadership
- Familiarity with agency creative workflow, creative skillsets and synergies
- Demonstrated experience with resourcing and project management
- Incredible interpersonal and conflict resolutions skills
- Ability to handle multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities in stride
- Ability to deftly navigate ambiguous situations, identify problems and solutions, and escalate issues as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
