Project Coordinator (Video)

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator (Video), under the direction of the Executive Producer, will assist with day to day production for live action, post edit, stop motion, and animation projects. The Project Coordinator (Video) will be responsible for scheduling projects, coordinating reviews, budgets and invoicing, and project status reports. The Project Coordinator (Video) will work directly with staff and freelance video producers, photographers, production staff, account executives, and creative teams for a variety of clients.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Assist the producer team to coordinate and organize all video and photo process going on Pace Communications
  • Work with producers, account teams, art directors, project managers and accounting on: budgeting, scheduling, call sheets, invoicing, talent contracts and releases
  • Manage contracts, travel and crew on multiple projects
  • Provide updates and weekly status reports on videos and where they are in the production pipeline
  • Maintain the Outskirts production studio and equipment
  • Compress video files and perform minor edits using Adobe Creative Suite when needed
  • Archive files at project wrap and maintain hard drive database
  • Assist with camera set up, talent check-in, and work as a production assistant during shoots

 

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of prior experience in video production with a minimum of 3 years overall work experience

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of video & photo production, general knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Collaborative problem solver
  • Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Proven project management and scheduling experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the proven ability to work in small and large groups
  • Must have a positive attitude and be adaptable and competent in a high-stress/high-pressure environment
  • Self-managed, proactive work style
  • Fast learner with interest in growing video and photo production knowledge
  • Current knowledge of video and social marketing trends preferred
